Deja Vu

BRANDING

Deja Vu Film Festival is a celebration of groundhog day style films, in which the protagonist is stuck in a loop of the same day repeating over and over.

This visual identity has been designed to emulate the unpleasantly familiar and uncanny sensation of groundhog day style films, a sub-genre which the protagonist is stuck in a loop of a single day repeating over and over. This is visually translated through the deliberate clashing of primary colours, in combination with the tight margins and repetition and warping of text. This aims to create an unsettling and claustrophobic otherworldly appearance. A feeling of being trapped in a void.
